Slimline switcher saves DIN-rail space
Supply provides 24V DC at 20A from a 85-276V AC single-phase input but is only one-third the size of other comparable DIN-rail power supplies.
The latest addition to the Puls Dimension Q series, the QS20.241 provides 24V DC at 20A from a 85-276V AC single-phase input and is one-third the size of other comparable DIN-rail power supplies The QS20.241 offers market-leading performance through innovative design using synchronous rectification topology and digital control to not only reduce the size of the unit but offers efficiencies up to 93.9%, significantly reducing heating effects and overall energy consumption

DIN-rail supplies have voltage drops covered
The latest addition to the Dimension range of DIN-rail power supplies from Puls offers an answer to the age-old problem of the voltage drop inherent in longer cables.
Miniature supplies on the DIN rail
The ML15 range of DIN-rail power supplies offers a choice of 5, 12 and 24V DC single outputs in a tiny 22.5 x 75 x 91mm housing.
The leading-edge design also provides 150% peak load capacity for load peaks such as motor starting and virtually eliminates start-up inrush current which reduces system cabling, fusing requirements and general over sizing of the power supply.
Further, the unit will start up at -25C and work at full rating through to +70C, making the power supply suitable for very harsh environments including outdoor control cabinets.
Other features include active power factor correction, LED status indicators, DC input from 88-375V DC, DC-OK relay contact, high reliability quick-connect spring-clamp terminals and a three year warranty.
With dimensions of just 82 x 124 x 127mm an N+1 redundant power system will now only take up the same space as an existing single, unsupported, power supply.
Harry Moore, Managing Director of Puls UK comments: "We continue to lead the market with feature rich, energy efficient DIN-rail power supplies".
"Not only does this allow our customers to save space and reduce system heat dissipation, it also means higher reliability and lower cost of ownership".
The QS20.241 has a full international approval package including GL Germanisher Lloyd approval for marine and offshore installations.
A range of accessories is available to assist system builders; they include, wall and side-mounting bracket, diode decoupling module and buffer unit.
PULS DIN-rail power supplies are available from stock for next day delivery.
