Edited by the Electronicstalk editorial team Jun 10, 2008

Single, dual, triple and quad floating outputs are adjustable and fully regulated, allowing maximum flexibility in meeting a user's exact voltage requirements.

New from Protek Power North America, the PM300 Series of 300W medical AC/DC switching power supplies combines compact performance-packed design with full compliance to worldwide EN60101-1 medical safety standards.

The PM300 Series has a universal 90-264V AC input and 21 models with single, dual, triple or quad outputs, ranging from 3.3 to 48V DC.

All outputs are floating, adjustable and fully regulated, allowing superb flexibility in meeting a user's exact voltage requirements.

Multiple output models also are available with a high current 24V DC primary output.

The PM300's compact package of 191 x 115 x 45mm is ideal for the space critical designs of today's higher power medical equipment.

An optional, integral cover and fan assembly allows for up to 300W of power from 0-50C, with derated output power up to 70C.

The PM300 is also available in a U-channel version, capable of up to 150W of convection cooled power or 300W with 16.5 litre/s of user provided moving air.

The PM300 Series features double fusing, necessary for European medical designs, comprehensive protection circuitry, power fail detect and remote inhibit.

Remote sense is standard on output 1 and output 2.

High efficiency and high MTBF make the PM300 a perfect choice for critical applications.

Units are competitively priced, starting at only US $105.00 for 1000 pieces with delivery from stock to 8 weeks ARO.
