Tiny antenna works any way up
Compact 3D antenna offers maximum sensitivity in the of minimum space.
As part of its continuous research and development in RFID transponder coils, Premo has developed a new compact 3D antenna with a PCB footprint of 11mm square and a low profile of less then 3.5mm Premo RFID was the first company in the world to integrate three discrete antennas into a single monolithic component, and patented the device in 2001
But being the first does not necessarily guarantee market success, and the company has continued its antenna programme to answer various mechanical, electrical and cost challenges.
The new Premo RFID antenna offers maximum sensitivity in the minimum space.
It is ideal for remote key entry systems and RFID access systems based on 3D identification.
It is suitable for SMD mounting, with a flat surface for pick and place machinery.
Antennas are available for both 20 and 125kHz applications.
