Premo complements transducer range

Premo has complemented its current transducer range with the Series DCT-200A, based in low-consumption fluxgate technology.

The new design offers the best solution to measure DC, AC currents, with excellent precision levels (99.9 per cent of linearity and only 5 ppm of linear error), with wide band-width (up to 100kHz) and up to 200A.

Fluxgate Technology is an alternative of Hall Effect close loop current measurement, which is offered with competitive cost and similar sizes.

DCT-200A is offered in 52 x 52 x 37mm dimensions.

In addition, this series has the following highlights: overload capacity up to 1000A (100ms); very low noise output and offset; and high immunity to all kinds of interferences.

Main applications are in energy measurement systems, medical equipment, high-stability inverters and high-power supply.

Many of these applications already use Premo inductive components.
