Quadrant has been appointed as the sole UK agent for Damar and Hagen, the well-know German connector manufacturer of broadcast and audio connectors Formed in 1922 and based in Erlangen, Damar and Hagen produces an extensive and highly innovative product range of high quality connectors to a worldwide customer base

A key product area for Damar and Hagen is its range of triaxial connectors designed specifically for the broadcast industry.

The product range includes triaxial plug and socket connections for camera cables in studios, transmission vans and outside broadcast vehicles.

The two isolated screens mean triaxial cables provide very low loss and excellent shielding and are used to carry both signal and power.

Characterised by high operational reliability and ease of assembly, the range covers 7, 10, 14, 15, 19, 21, 26, 30 and 39 pole versions with keyed bayonet locking.

The range has been VDE-tested and satisfies the demands set by DIN40050, VDE0110, 0470 and VDE0627.

David Phillips, Quadrant UK Sales Manager, said: "This is an important addition to our range of broadcast products and we are looking forward to working closely with Damar and Hagen to develop this business in the UK".

Quadrant can supply cable assemblies using Damar and Hagen connectors with triaxial cables from Bedea.
