A comprehensive range of waterproof D-type subminiature connectors, hoods and accessories from German connector company FCT is available exclusively in the UK from Quadrant Ideal for all types of communication, instrumentation, measurement and test equipment that is used in wet environments, these RoHS compliant connectors are rated to IP67 and are available as bulkhead connectors, cable connectors and waterproof hoods

All connector shells are manufactured from brass with tin over nickel-plate, the insulators are made from UL94V0 glass filled thermoplastic and the contacts are copper alloy.

Bulkhead connectors, that can be either front or rear mounted, have a watertight frame in either UL94V0 glass filled thermoplastic or nickel-plated zinc die-cast.

All sealing elements are silicone.

The standard hoods are manufactured from UL94V0 glass reinforced polyester and shielded versions are available in nickel-plated over copper UL94V0 ABS.

Solder pot plus straight and right angle PCB connector styles are supplied in 9-, 15- and 25-way versions and mixed layout versions with coaxial, high power, high voltage and pneumatic contacts are also available.

Designed for up to 500 mating cycles, these connectors are rated at 5A with a test voltage between contacts of 1200V for 1min.

The connectors are available from stock with no MOQs.
