Rockers move to modern design

High-performance rocker switches feature integrated seal that is dust- and waterproof up to IP65.

Now available in the UK from Quadrant is a range of high-performance, IP65 rated rocker switches from Marquardt.

The Marquardt 1930 series employs a modern rocker design with an integrated seal that is dust- and waterproof up to IP65 and therefore needs no additional protection cap.

Rated to 20A switching and 120A inrush current they are available in single- and double-pole formats in the same size and mounting depth.

They are supplied in a variety of colours, with or without illumination, in single and double-throw and double-throw with centre-off formats and also with a momentary function.

A simple snap-on assembly caters for panel thickness of 0.75 to 3.00mm.

The high-quality switching principle with a low friction contact is proven 100 million times making these switches ideal for applications such as fork lift trucks and similar mechanical handling equipment, professional coffee making machines, control panels for water heaters and heating systems, medical appliances, garden pumps, welding machines and similar equipment.
