The 1880 series uses a switching principle with a proven life of 100 million cycles and an electrical rating up to 12(4)A and 250V AC with inrush currents up to 70A.

The Marquardt 1881 range of IP65-protected rocker switches has a sleek, round design, a shallow installation depth of 18.7mm, long life and excellent switching characteristics due to a low friction ball contact This makes the range ideal for use in small household appliances, lighting systems, office equipment, computer peripherals, laboratory and medical equipment

Manufactured in polyamide with gold-plated contacts and silver plated terminals, the 1880 series uses a switching principle with a proven life of 100 million cycles and an electrical rating up to 12(4)A and 250V AC with inrush currents up to 70A.

Insulation resistance is greater than 100Mohm, contact resistance is greater than 100mohm and the contact gap is 3mm.

The operating temperature range is -20C to +100C.

A simple snap-on assembly caters for panel thickness of 0.75mm to 3mm and a snug fit is assured due to tolerance compensation ribs on the switch housing.

Standard switching functions provided are single-pole, single- throw and single-pole, normally open.
