Single-pole sealed rocker switch employs advanced haptic technology to ensure maximum user control, comfort and feedback.

Available now from Quadrant, the Marquardt 1838 is a single-pole rocker switch that is protected to IP67 making it ideal for use in harsh conditions.

The Marquardt 1838 is an attractive, oval switch that is available in a wide range of colours, markings and rocker designs.

It has a silk matt surface that is excellent for wear resistant marking and it is fitted with a high quality, convoluted, rubber gaiter seal that provides excellent dust and water protection to IP67.

Several different terminal versions may be specified to suit a wide range of applications and the low friction contact switching system provides a life of over one million operations.

Available with single-throw, double-throw and double-throw with centre off switching functions, the M-1838 is electrically rated to 16(4)A at 250V AC with inrush current up to 120A and gold plated contacts make it highly suitable for use at low voltages.

Operating temperature range is from -20 to +105C and the panel cut out is 22 x 30mm with simple snap-on assembly for panel thickness of 1 to 2mm.

The M-1838 has excellent actuation characteristics and employs advanced haptic technology to ensure maximum user control, comfort and feedback.

It will be ideal for all types of exterior equipment including vehicles used in the construction, agriculture and mechanical handling industries, cleaning equipment, medical devices, lighting equipment and in heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment.
