ArcticLink reduces design time and risk for mobile product developers by embedding hard-wired host controllers with a programmable fabric - all in a single low-power device.
The single-chip, low-power programmable bridge is ideally suited for applications such as handheld GPS, VoWLAN PDAs, and smartphones.
In addition to the bridge, QuickLogic has developed a complete Wi-Fi connectivity solution based on Atheros Communications AR5006XS single chip 802.11a/b/g miniPCI module.
The solution includes a daughtercard that plugs seamlessly into the Intel PXA270-based processor developer kit (Mainstone DVK) and a complete board support package (BSP) for the Linux operating system.
