Quellan has recruited Todd Smathers as Senior Vice President of Operations.

Quellan has expanded its operations team by recruiting analogue industry veteran Todd Smathers as Senior Vice President of Operations.

Smathers brings to Quellan strong operational discipline and vast experience in cultivating cutting edge analogue enterprises.

With over 25 years of industry experience, Smathers has held senior management positions at National Semiconductor, Linear Technology, Xicor and Intersil.

Laying the groundwork at Silicon Valley's premier analogue company, Smathers was part of the original team at Linear Technology in 1981.

As Director of Operations at Linear, he managed domestic back-end operations, test and product engineering, worldwide capacity planning and procurement, along with product qualification and production release for all product lines.

At Xicor, Smathers' contribution as Senior Vice President of Operations included managing all worldwide operations in the development of high performance analogue mixed-signal ICs - leading to an acquisition by Intersil, the leader in high performance analogue semiconductor design.

"Todd's solid operational experience in boosting the production of new designs is unmatched", said Quellan CEO Tony Stelliga.

"We are delighted to have him onboard as we accelerate our growth through this next production phase".
