Flarion Technologies has appointed Dr Andrew J Viterbi to its board of directors.

Flarion Technologies has appointed Dr Andrew J Viterbi to its board of directors Viterbi was cofounder of Qualcomm, and a co-inventor of CDMA based digital cellular technology

Before Qualcomm, Viterbi cofounded Linkabit Corp, a digital communications company.

He is also the inventor of the well known Viterbi Algorithm, a decoding algorithm used in most digital communication systems.
