Flarion Technologies has been named as one of the companies on the Red Herring "Top Ten to Watch List".

Flarion Technologies has been named as one of the companies on the Red Herring Top Ten to Watch List.

Selected by the Editors of Red Herring, the list features the top ten startups that Red Herring believes will be noteworthy companies to follow in the upcoming year.

In its sixth year, the Red Herring Top Ten to Watch has become one of the most respected lists of its kind.

Red Herring Editors compile the list by using the same combination of subjective insights and hard metrics favoured by venture capitalists and investment bankers.

These factors predict a company's ability to disrupt existing markets or create entirely new ones.

The Red Herring Top Ten to Watch is featured in the June 2002 issue of Red Herring magazine and is also available on www.redherring.com.

"Flarion is proud to be named as a 'Top Ten Company to Watch'", said Ray Dolan, Flarion's CEO.

"As we complete trials with national carriers, and move to deployment of Flarion's IP-friendly 'always-on' mobile broadband, the industry will see an explosion in demand for unwired data by enterprise and mass market customers".
