The IMP Series is the latest addition to the range of surface-mount coaxial connectors from Radiall.
The IMP Series is the latest addition to the range of surface-mount coaxial connectors from Radiall Standing for interconnect microminiature pressure contact, the IMP Series is designed for board to board connections
It uses only a single coaxial connector where normally two or three are needed.
It requires just 5.7 x 3.9mm of PCB space and features a height of 3 mm between PCBs (other heights are possible).
The connector's weight is only 0.02g.
IMP connectors offer an operating frequency of DC to 6GHz, making the unit suitable for a wide variety of applications including 900 and 1900MHz mobile phones and portable computing devices.
