Radiall has designed and manufactured a new series of high-performance fibre-optic cable assemblies it calls the Master Cord series.
Radiall has designed and manufactured a new series of high-performance fibre-optic cable assemblies it calls the Master Cord series The company has used its expertise and knowhow in submicron technologies to achieve eccentricity of a single-mode fibre core of better than 0.3um from the centre of the optical ferrule
Pigtails and cable assemblies are available with a variety of standard connectors, including SC, FC and LC (UPC and APC version).
Common applications for Master Cords include: use with test equipment to measure the insertion loss of cable assemblies to IEC61300-3-4 method B; and as very low loss interconnects (0.1dB) for patch panels in long-haul terrestrial or submarine networks.
