According to Radiall, the SMP series is one of the fastest growing interfaces for high-frequency coaxial connectors, and will soon be available with up to 90 models.

According to Radiall, the SMP series is one of the fastest growing interfaces for high-frequency coaxial connectors, and will soon be available with up to 90 models The microminiature connectors handle frequencies up to 40GHz, and are compliant with DESC specifications 94007 and 94008

All male connectors are available with three levels of retention force: full detent (100 mating cycles), limited detent (500 cycles) and smooth bore (1000 cycles).

The SMP connectors feature a blind-mateable push-on interface to enable gang mating.

The Radiall SMP series allows an axial float of +0.25mm and 0.25mm of radial misalignment.

Hermetically sealed versions are also available.

The GPO-compatible Radiall SMP series is the perfect solution for microminiature high-performance interconnection between MIC packages as well as cable-to-board and backplane applications.
