The R596 SMT micro-relay range combines the excellent reliability, RF and repeatability characteristics of coaxial switches with the miniature size of a surface mount component.

A novel "micro mechanical" design allows the new R596 SMT micro-relay range to combine the excellent reliability, RF and repeatability characteristics of coaxial switches with the miniature size of a surface mount component Frequency range is from DC to 10GHz with high power handling - more than 120W CW at 1GHz - associated with very low insertion loss (0.1dB typical at 6GHz)

The relays handle temperatures up to 125C, shocks up to 1200g and sine vibration up to 50g/2kHz.

This relay is ideal for use in wireless basestations and ATE for both communication and military markets.
