DC block protects sensitive RF instruments

A Radiall product story

Radiall has added a novel DC block to its range of QLF-certified QMA products.

Radiall has added a novel DC block to its range of QLF-certified QMA products.

The DC block can be used when DC isolation is required in order to protect sensitive equipment such as receivers or testers.

It can be simply inserted in the coaxial line thanks to the plug/jack design with a low insertion loss.

The QMA DC block operates within the 0.01 to 3GHz frequency range with a 10W power rating.

A 4700pF alumina substrate in series capacitor with the inner contact prevents the flow of current inside the DC block without affecting RF power transmission.

A maximum DC voltage of 60V can be applied to the main line.

Other microwave products such as QMA terminations and attenuators are available with a full range of QMA connectors.
