Radiall has been selected by Boeing to supply antenna links integrated into a system allowing real-time high-speed Internet connection between an passenger aircraft in flight and ground equipment The system will allow every passenger using a laptop equipped with a Wi-Fi connection to benefit, during the flight, from all the Internet possibilities

This system, developed for "Connexion by Boeing", is already in use on several regular flights and will be installed on many planes in the near future.

System adaptability allows onboard installation in many manufacturers' aircraft.

The microwave assemblies developed by Radiall feature lightweight, very-low loss SHF coaxial cables, working up to 15GHz and complex coaxial connectors.

These coaxial cable assemblies can reach high power levels in a nonpressurised atmosphere while maintaining excellent phase-matching qualities.

Throughout this development, Radiall has demonstrated its high level of expertise and its technical knowledge as well as its reactivity.

This constant care about customer satisfaction has been honored by Boeing with its "supplier of the year" award for 2004.
