The Radisys Microware OS-9 for PowerPC product features the Microware Hawk integrated development environment, which is designed to increase software development and system integration efficiency.
The OS-9 configuration wizard simplifies configuration and building of system images.
The product also features the OS-9 embedded RTOS, which is a secure, process model architecture that is fully re-entrant, position independent and protects against system corruption.
The Radisys Microware OS-9 for PowerPC contains a preintegrated driver-based communications framework called SoftStax that enables individual protocols and networks to be easily snapped in and out.
The OS-9 also features MAUI embedded and graphics multimedia support, customisable exception handling framework and support for power sensitive devices.
The Radisys Microware OS-9 for PowerPC will be available in June 2003.
