Radisys has released four additions to its Endura family of long-life embedded motherboards, a subset of its newly formed Procelerant family of embedded systems.

This week at Embedded World, Radisys released four additions to its Endura family of long-life embedded motherboards Endura is a subset of Radisys' newly formed Procelerant family of embedded systems

The Procelerant Endura AB915GM is an Intel Pentium M FlexATX motherboard, based on the new Intel 915GM chipset.

The Procelerant Endura BY915GV, LR915G and KP915GV are Intel Pentium 4 uATX/ATX motherboards, based on the Intel 915GV and Intel 915G chipsets.

Additionally, these long life motherboards are the first embedded designs to support the new high speed, serial PCI Express bus interface.

With the launch of these products Radisys offers OEMs a broad range of long life embedded motherboards that meet a variety of price/performance and power specifications and are ideal for medical, test and measurement, transaction terminals, gaming and industrial automation applications.

"We have a reputation for delivering industry leading embedded solutions, which allow our customers to maintain their competitive edge and to lower their total cost of ownership", said Wade Clowes, General Manager, Commercial Products Segment at Radisys.

"Expanding our Procelerant Endura product family to support the latest Intel processors, chipsets and industry standards is further proof of our commitment to providing leading edge solutions for the embedded market".

The Procelerant Endura AB915GM is a highly integrated, low power/high performance, long life motherboard designed for applications where power management is critical.

The AB915GM supports the embedded Intel Pentium M processors 745 and 760, and the Intel Celeron M processor 370.

The Procelerant Endura BY915GV, LR915G and KP915GV provide complimentary solutions to address the scalable performance needs for today's demanding applications.

These motherboards support the embedded Intel Pentium 4 processor 550 and Intel Celeron processor 340.

Radisys has engineered all four motherboards for long life, 24/7 operation and to support all the latest technologies offered by the Intel 915 generation of chipsets, such as GMA900 graphics, Intel High Definition Audio, Serial ATA, DDR2 memory and PCI Express.

The Procelerant Endura AB915GM is a 9 x 7.5in FlexATX motherboard based on the Intel AB915GM chipset and is designed for low power, high performance applications.

The AB915GM supports Intel Pentium M processors with an FSB of 533MHz and a 2Mbyte L2 cache.

With integrated, high performance GMA900 graphics, the AB915GM also has two DVI ports to support dual, independent displays.

An onboard connector is available for 18bit, dual channel LVDS display panels.

Peripheral expansion capabilities are provided by both PCI and PCI Express slots, an MM/SD Flash socket and a PCI Express Mini Card slot.

I/O includes gigabit Ethernet, an optional IEEE1394b interface and eight USB 2.0 ports.

An Intel High Definition Audio codec supports two-channel, 24bit audio with auto-sensing jack sockets.

The Procelerant Endura BY915GV and LR915G are 9.6 x 9.6in uATX motherboards.

The Procelerant Endura KP915GV is a 12 x 9.6in ATX motherboard.

This family of embedded, long life motherboards is designed for scalable applications ranging from an entry-level Intel Celeron to a high performance Intel Pentium 4 processor with 800MHz FSB and a 1Mbyte L2 cache.

All boards have integrated, high performance GMA900 graphics.

Additionally the LR915G has a x16 PCI Express graphics slot for an accelerated graphics card.

Peripheral expansion is provided with both PCI Express and PCI slots.

I/O includes gigabit Ethernet, serial, parallel, PS/2, eight USB 2.0 ports and IEEE1394b (KP915GV only).

An Intel High Definition Audio codec supports two-channel, 24bit audio with auto-sensing jack sockets.

The Radisys platforms are currently sampling with customers and production quantities will be available in April 2005.
