RadiSys offers the only COM with 5V support based on the COM-Express standard (Procelerant CE945GM).
This option provides system users a modular solution that can be used on legacy VME, CompactPCI and other 5V supply boards.
"With its modular design, the Procelerant CE 945GM makes it easier for OEMs to plan for feature changes and performance upgrades without having to redesign their products", said Wade Clowes, General Manager, Commercial Segment at RadiSys.

The Procelerant CE945GM is available with 2 and 1.66GHz dual-core Intel Pentium M, Celeron M and the Mobile Intel 945GM chipset.
The module is based on the standard COM Express form factor (95 x 125mm) and features eight USB ports, two SATA ports and one ATA 100 port.
Flexible PCI-Express options allow one PCI-Express x16 plus five PCI-Express x1 ports and one PCI-Express x4 plus one PCI-Express x1.
The CE945GM includes type 2 COM Express pinout functionality with one SODIMM socket that accommodates up to 2Gbyte of memory.
Dual SODIMM sockets will be available in the near future.
Additionally, the module features a Broadcom BCM5789 1000BaseTX Ethernet controller, Phoenix BIOS with ACPI 3.0 power management, Win XP/WinXP Embedded/Red Hat desktop Linux, Win CE.
Optimised passive and active heatsinks are also available.
The Procelerant CE 945GM is also RoHS compliant.
The Procelerant CE 945GM will be available in April, 2006 and pricing will start at US $586 in small quantities, depending on configuration.
