RadiSys Corp has named Anthony Ambrose as Vice President and General Manager of its Communications Networks business.

RadiSys Corp has named Anthony Ambrose as Vice President and General Manager of its Communications Networks business Ambrose brings to RadiSys more then 23 years of engineering, development, sales and marketing experience, as well as deep expertise and market knowledge in the embedded, telecommunications and ATCA markets

In his new role, Ambrose will manage ATCA and core networks products.

"Anthony is an invaluable addition to the RadiSys team.

His industry knowledge will be instrumental in growing the company's customer base, as well as better serving existing customers", said Scott Grout, President and CEO of RadiSys.

Anthony's breadth of experience will accelerate RadiSys leadership position in the communications market".

Prior to joining RadiSys, Ambrose served as General Manager of the Modular Communications Platform Division (MCPD) at Intel Corporation.

In this most recent role at Intel, his organisation had the responsibility for communication servers, hardware and software including Intel's ATCA product portfolio.

Ambrose previously led processor marketing and strategy for the enterprise server business, establishing the Xeon processor as a multi billion dollar business.

Anthony also has extensive experience in engineering and account management.

Ambrose holds a BSc in engineering from Princeton University, graduating Magna cum Laude.
