Rubber keypads offer wide choice of customisation
New from Radiatron is a range of competitively priced silicon rubber keypads that meet diverse application requirements through a wide choice of customisation options.
Installers simply prepare the fibres and place the connector into its assembly tool, open the mechanical splice with a wedge and insert the fibre, then remove the wedge and connector from the assembly tool before fitting the rubber boot.
MT-RJ connectors are suitable for SM10/125, G150/125 and G162.5/125 fibres.
They have an average insertion loss of 0.6dB with SM10/125 fibres and 0.1dB with other types.
Return loss is at least 40dB.
Options are available for use with either 0.75mm pitch, two-fibre ribbon core, or 2.8mm diameter cord cables.
The connectors are available exclusively in the UK from electromechanical component specialist Radiatron, who can also supply tooling and customised fibre cable assemblies.
