A new 112-page catalogue gives designers access to full technical data, backed up by application support to configure and select individual fans, while project engineers can work with Acal Radiatron specialists to specify complete turnkey subassemblies.
Custom cooling modules can include fans, controller, metal enclosure, air filtering, wiring and RFI control, using detailed performance data to optimise model selection for airflow, static pressure, noise and life.
System integration is greatly simplified by a comprehensive range of options for intelligent monitoring and control.
For example, tachometer outputs are available in up to six different formats, while the patented ThermaPro-V system provides versatile speed and temperature control that is immune to voltage fluctuation problems, yet requires only one control wire referenced to ground.
As well as the Flight range of DC axial fans covering flow rates from 45 to 1700 litre/min, and featuring 80 models in 25 to 92mm sizes, 20 other families are available.
Capabilities include special low-noise blade profiles, tubeaxial fans, diagonal and mixed flow models, forward and backward curved impellers, AC and DC motors and individual flow rates up to 390 litre/s.
The three levels of environmental protection offered by Enviro-Shield use advanced techniques such as conformal coating and potting to deliver robust fans for harsh environments, tested to withstand spray, dust and salt fog.
A wide range of finger guards, filter assemblies, grilles and mounting hardware is also available to suit individual fans and complete fan trays.
