The 2007 debut episode of RapidIO Radio from the RapidIO Trade Association previews a new white paper: "System interconnect fabrics: Ethernet versus RapidIO technology", available from 6th February, which concludes that for many embedded applications, RapidIO technology outperforms Ethernet.
The podcast initiates a discussion on the comprehensive compilation of embedded interconnect information, the high-level market perspective, in the paper and technical examination of the two technologies.
