C-Mac Microtechnology has a new range of highly competitive single-oven oven-controlled crystal oscillators.

C-Mac Microtechnology has a new range of highly competitive single-oven oven-controlled crystal oscillators (OCXOs).

The CFPO-D03 single-oven OCXO series is suitable as a frequency source and time keeping reference for all synchronisation systems, including GPS-based equipment.

It surpasses double-oven OCXO performance in a smaller package at lower cost.

The design philosophy behind the single-oven OCXO is based on: precise optimisation of the thermal design resulting in a compact construction; mutual adaptation of the crystal resonator and OCXO design; and highly controlled, in-house manufacturing of both crystal and OCXO.

C-MAC Microtechnology's CFPO-D03 is designed to provide a holdover performance of better than 7us over 24h in stable ambient conditions and a frequency stability better than 0.2ppb peak-peak over an operating temperature range from -20 to +70C.

With its smaller package size of 51.0 x 41.0 x 19.0mm, its lower cost, increased performance versus other environmental conditions and better phase noise performance, the CFPO-D03 a competitive alternative to current market offerings.
