Award acknowledges financial performance
Ramtron International has been named the winner of the 2002 Outstanding Public Company Financial Performers Award by the Fabless Semiconductor Association (FSA).

To be selected for the award, the winning company must have doubled either revenue or net income over eight consecutive quarters for the period ended September 2002.
Ramtron was one of only three public companies to win an award in this category.
"Our teams have been working diligently to build our business and it is gratifying to have our hard work recognized by the Fabless Semiconductor Association", said Bill Staunton, Ramtron's CEO.
"To be one of only three public companies selected for this award is evidence of our determination to grow our business in a challenging industry environment".
The most successful fabless semiconductor companies during the past year were acknowledged with awards given to the most respected public and private fabless companies, along with the top startup companies..
In addition, Bernard Vonderschmitt, cofounder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Xilinx and winner of the FSA's 2002 Dr Morris Chang Exemplary Leadership award, was in attendance to accept his award and provide remarks.
