Radstone Embedded Computing today announced the appointment of Mike Spiewakowski to head up the company's European ICS Sensor Processing sales operation.

Radstone Embedded Computing has appointed Mike Spiewakowski to head up the company's European ICS Sensor Processing sales operation Based at Radstone's headquarters in Towcester, UK, Spiewakowski will be responsible for maximising sales and increasing the European market share of ICS's market-leading range of ADC, DAC, software defined radio and data acquisition products

"Europe is a very important territory for us", said John Umney, Director of Sales at Radstone, "and the ICS product range is capturing significant interest from military, commercial and research organisations alike".

"In order to capitalise on that interest and to take advantage of the numerous opportunities we see, it was vital that we recruited an individual with extensive experience in the industry and knowledge of the market".

"We believe that Mike is that individual and I'm pleased to be welcoming him to Radstone at what is a very exciting time for the company".

Spiewakowski has returned to the UK after spending several years in the USA, where he held a number of sales management assignments in the defense industry, most recently with Tactical Communications Group headquartered in Billerica, Massachusetts.

Prior to that, he had completed a five year artificer apprenticeship in the Royal Navy before graduating from the RAF College Cranwell as a Communications/Electronics Engineering Officer.

Spiewakowski is married with a daughter, and enjoys travel, golf and fly fishing.
