Overcurrent protection in half the space
The new 0805 EIA compliant form factor of the picoSMD device consumes less than half the board space required by previous offerings.
The latest addition to the popular PolySwitch range of resettable PPTC (polymeric positive temperature coefficient) devices is billed as the smallest PPTC overcurrent protection device for consumer and computer electronics The new 0805 EIA compliant form factor of the picoSMD device consumes less than half the board space required by previous offerings, and provides a significant advantage in space-constrained board designs
