RBC Industries has developed a new flexible potting compound it claims offers outstanding moisture resistance, excellent electrical properties, and exceptional resistance to thermal shock and impact The 557 potting compound is an ideal choice for protecting assemblies which may be exposed to a variety of environmental conditions, including moisture and temperature

The 1:1 (by volume) mix ratio and rapid gel time make it suitable for both manual and automatic operations.

The potting compound offers a low viscosity with superior adhesion to most metals, plastics and rubbers.
