AI Corp is to promote and distribute Rococo's embedded Java solution in Japan.
AI Corp will distribute Rococo's products and services aimed at making building Bluetooth applications in Java easier.
Sean O'Sullivan, Rococo Software CEO, welcomes the sales and technical experience AI Corp brings to the partnership.
"AI Corporation's expertise in selling to the embedded Java market in Japan will help Rococo extend its customer base in Asia.
With over twelve million Java handsets already deployed in the marketplace, Japan clearly leads the revolution taking place around wireless Java.
As the home of consumer electronics, Japan is a key marketplace for Bluetooth development".
Rococo Software's offerings include Impronto Simulator, Impronto Developer Kit for PalmOS and the Bluetooth TLK technology licensing kit.
Impronto Simulator runs Java applications in a simulated Bluetooth environment, allowing developers to simply test and configure applications before deploying them on Bluetooth devices.
Impronto Developer Kit for PalmOS makes creating wireless applications easy by hiding complex Bluetooth protocols behind standard Java APIs.
Rococo's TLK is a comprehensive set of development tools and technologies that implement standard Java APIs for Bluetooth wireless technology (JABWT), as defined by Java Community Process Expert Group JSR-82.
"AI Corporation is very pleased to partner with Rococo Software", said Hiroyuki Kato, President at AI Corp.
"The growing embedded Java market can benefit from Rococo's Java solutions, which greatly simplify the process of building Bluetooth applications".
