Real Intent joins Accellera board

Real Intent has joined Accellera as a corporate member to further support the organisation's assertion-based verification efforts.

Real Intent has joined Accellera as a corporate member to further support the organisation's assertion-based verification (ABV) efforts Real Intent has also been elected to Accellera's Board of Directors

Dr Prakash Narain, Real Intent's founder and CEO, is Real Intent's representative on the Accellera Board.

Dr Narain is active in Accellera's assertion language standardisation efforts to improve electronic design verification efficiency and productivity.

"We believe that assertion standardisation is key to unlocking the potential of assertion-based verification", remarked Dr Narain.

"With standardisation, designers can select from the best in class verification tools to solve complex verification problems".

Dennis Brophy, Accellera's chair, noted, "We welcome companies that play a leading role in the verification market as members and as participants in Accellera's standards efforts.

As an elected member of the board, Real Intent is among the EDA companies that have an influential role in the development of future language-based electronic design standards".

Real Intent actively participates and supports the work of Accellera's Assertion technical committee, and is among the technology donators to Accellera's SystemVerilog language standard.
