Red Lion's new PAXCK 1/8 DIN, PAX clock/timer offers many performance capabilities to suit a wide range of industrial applications.

With a six-digit LED display, it can function as an elapsed timer, preset timer and/or a real-time clock with date capability.

The PAXCK has been specifically designed for harsh industrial environments, with a NEMA 4X/IP65 sealed bezel and extensive testing to meet CE requirements.

The PAXCK functions as an elapsed timer by using two separate signal inputs and 23 selectable timer ranges, and can be programmed to meet almost any timing application.

A plug-in setpoint card also enables the PAXCK to easily become a dual or quad output preset timer.

As a real-time clock, the PAXCK has the ability to externally synchronise with other PAXCK meters to provide a uniform display network throughout the plant.

The meter provides up to four different displays, accessed via front panel pushbuttons or external inputs.

The displays are timer, date, real-time clock and count which displays the current cycle counter value.

The front panel keys and three user inputs are programmable to perform various meter functions.

One function includes exchanging parameter lists, allowing for two separate listings of setpoint values, timer start/stop values, counter start/stop values and real-time clock daily on and off values.

Optional plug-in cards allow up to four setpoint outputs to be assigned to the timer, counter and real-time clock time.

These outputs can be independently configured to suit a variety of control and alarm requirements.

The meter can be configured using a Windows-based program and, once configured, the parameter list may be locked out from further modification.

Plug-in option cards allow the opportunity to configure the meter for a current application, while providing easy upgrades for future needs.

Further plug-in cards can provide serial communications, including RS232, RS485 and Modbus.
