Nepcon visitors recover to 1990s levels
Visitor numbers at Nepcon 2001 were up by over 8% on last year's event, reports Reed Exhibitions.
Visitor numbers at Nepcon 2001 were up by over 8% on last year's event, reports Reed Exhibitions.
7382 people attended this year's show, comprised largely of management personnel and decision makers.
This is up from 6834 visitors to Nepcon 2000 and 7020 to Nepcon 1999.
With significant changes to the format of the event announced at the show, Reed claims the increasing visitor numbers back up Exhibition Director Justin Tadman's statements that these alterations are a proactive move to ensure the continued success of Nepcon in the future and are made from a position of strength.
Post-show reactions from across the industry highlighted the success of Nepcon 2001 in attracting good numbers of quality visitors, and in creating an ideal forum for visitors and exhibitors to do business.
"Reports of equipment sales have come in from all areas of the show", comments Tadman, "and with the current economic climate being as it is, we are delighted with the results".
Nepcon 2002 will take place in Halls 1 and 2 of the NEC, Birmingham, between 1st and 3rd October.
Nepcon South will take place at the Brighton Metropole on 2nd and 3rd April 2003.
Nepcon North will take place at the Harrogate International Centre on 16th and 17th September 2003.
