Nepcon named 65th best show in the UK

Nepcon has been named in a poll by Exhibition News magazine as one of the country's top trade events.

Nepcon has been named in a poll by Exhibition News magazine as one of the country's top trade events.

The Top 100 Exhibitions survey uses a combination of net square metres, number of exhibitors and number of visitors to determine the 'best' exhibitions across all sectors in the UK.

In addition, Nepcon's management team were awarded two top honours at the Reed Exhibitions annual awards dinner, an event covering 24 trade shows.

Nepcon, which was the only electronics event named in the Top 100 Exhibitions list, came in at number 65, with many of the exhibitions above it being events aimed at the general public, such as the Farnborough Air Show, the London Boat Show, the Ideal Home Show and the Clothes Show Live.

The 2002 show's colocating event, INTERPLAS, was named an impressive 9th.

Justin Tadman, Nepcon Exhibition Director, was presented with the prestigious Chairman's Award at the Reed Exhibitions awards dinner in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the success of the show over the last two years.

Nepcon also won the Best UK Marketing Campaign award.

"We are all delighted to be recognised in this way, both by Reed and by the industry as a whole", comments Tadman.

"The whole team has worked incredibly hard this year to make Nepcon a success and is currently in determined mood to do the same for the 2002 show".
