Leading UK engineering and technology firms, with a combined multi-million pound spend on training and development, will assemble at the IEE 'Investing in Technical Teams' forum on 4 November 2004.
Workshop gives complete picture on CE.NET 5.0
A UK-based workshop will give embedded software development engineers hands-on experience in running the new 5.0 release of Windows CE.NET on next generation processors.
New to Nepcon Brighton will be a series of seminars organised by the Reed Electronics Group, the organisation responsible for all of the Reed electronics trade events and publications worldwide.
These will be focused on convergence technologies and how the electronics market as a whole is developing on both regional and global levels.
They will look at specifics in different markets and discuss the impact of developments in consumer technologies and the integration of these into manufacturing strategies.
Also new will be a schedule of small-piece seminars, discussing electronics manufacturing productivity and efficiency, and investigating real-time issues.
Both programmes will run alongside the already successful SMART Group process technology seminars, which have been included at Nepcon for some years.
Well attended and extremely popular, a full program focused on the latest issues and technologies within the electronics manufacturing industry will again take place at Nepcon Brighton.
"The expanded seminar schedule is something that we feel is both important and beneficial for visitors to Nepcon Brighton", explains Exhibition Director Justin Tadman.
"Though it will have the same number of exhibitors, the regional event will be smaller than the NEC-based Nepcon show, with capped stand sizes to allow a more level playing field.
But Nepcon Brighton is more about meeting people, networking, doing business and gaining knowledge at a crucial time for the electronics manufacturing industry.
It is the UK's only dedicated event for the electronics manufacturing industry, and the three seminar programmes will undoubtedly add a great deal to it".
