Following its popularity at Nepcon 2002, Reed Exhibitions is once again running "Meet At The Bar" at the regional Brighton event this year Focused on providing a forum for visitors to contact friends and colleagues with whom they may have lost contact in a rapidly changing industry, the initiative allows anyone preregistering for the Brighton show on the Nepcon website to search the lists of visitors for people they know and to contact them to rendezvous during the show

Workshop gives complete picture on CE.NET 5.0
A UK-based workshop will give embedded software development engineers hands-on experience in running the new 5.0 release of Windows CE.NET on next generation processors.
"It is a simple concept, but an immensely popular and successful one", says Exhibition Director Justin Tadman.
"At last year's Nepcon, Meet At The Bar provided the means for dozens of old colleagues and friends to meet up and re-establish contact.
With networking and communication being an important part of what will make Nepcon Brighton different, the initiative is effective not just on a personal level, but also on a business level." Meet At The Bar is enabled by the Nepcon website, which has undergone several major technical updates over the past few years, and is run using the data visitors supply when they fill in the forms to pre-register.
"Preregistration has taken off over the last two years to the extent that 52% of the total attendance at Nepcon 2002 had already signed up before visiting", comments Tadman.
Simply by registering prior to Nepcon Brighton, visitors will receive a show badge, fast-track entry and a free official show planner, complete with full exhibitor list and floorplan.
In addition, after the event they will be emailed a copy of the Keynote Address by Mark Kirstein of research giant In-Stat/MDR, which offers insights into advanced technical markets and forecasts for the direction in which they are headed.
