Dates announced for electronics show
It's time to make a date with Nepcon UK, as Reed Exhibitions announces dates for the 2008 show to be held 29th April to 1st May at the NEC, Birmingham.
Reed Exhibitions has announced that Nepcon UK 2008 will be held 29th April to 1st May at the NEC, Birmingham.
This show cycle will also see the event relocating to Hall 20, one of the newer halls in the NEC complex, which is entered from the atrium.
"Overall the response to this year's event has been positive, with exhibitors receiving a significant number of sales leads and several reporting lucrative sales at the show", reported Marketing Manager, Deborah Sibthorpe.
"This has resulted in a large number of stands that have already been reserved for 2008, which is very encouraging".
Long-term Exhibitor Peter Marshall, Managing Director of Process Support Products, reported a steady flow of visitors over all three days, "Nepcon is the perfect place for us to launch new products and the interest received ensures many months of follow up, plus of course the resulting orders".
Exhibitor Roland Joy, Sales Executive for CIL told Reed, "We took as many leads in one morning as we did over the three days of Nepcon last year".
While Mark Warner, Director of Cable and Crimping Services said, "We were overwhelmed with the success of our second show, it did our business no end of good and we have since taken orders as a result".
Visitor Stephen Crosby, Technology Manager at TT Electronics said "It is part of my job to keep up to date with the latest technology and Nepcon is the only UK event I attend, enabling me to research and to network with people and suppliers".
"The team are currently undertaking research and meeting a number of Nepcon visitors to understand exactly what they are looking for from an exhibition and how Nepcon might continue to meet their needs", explained Sibthorpe.
New features for the 2008 show are currently being finalised and will be announced shortly.
