Repic hosts free workshops for councils
Repic is running another series of workshops to provide councils with an update on the current WEEE legislation and a forum to feedback experiences and explore opportunities going forward.
Dr Philip Morton, Chief Executive and Louise Grantham, Finance Director of Repic, will both be addressing the members on their obligations and actions required, along with timeline parameters for compliance.
The member workshops will be at the following venues: 29th January at 76 Portland Place, London W1B 1NT; and 2nd February at Malmaison Piccadilly Hotel, Manchester M1 1LZ.
Morton said: "We know from speaking to all of our members on a regular basis that there is still some confusion about the WEEE Directive's impact on day-to-day operations and what each producer needs to do to meet its obligation".
"Our workshops have been planned so that all our members not only have the chance to get their concerns ironed out, but also to receive guidance on what they should have done or are going to need to do to meet all the registration criteria ahead, of the 15th March 2007 deadline".
Attendance for the two workshops is reserved exclusively for Repic members.
