WEEE compliance scheme is approved
Repic has received approval from the Environment Agency for its WEEE compliance scheme.
Repic is the latest scheme to receive approval from the Environment Agency for its WEEE compliance scheme Dr Philip Morton, Chief Executive of Repic spoke of his delight at hearing the news: "We are overjoyed to have received the approval on our scheme from the Environment Agency"

Not wishing to be drawn into the mad rush to become the first approved compliance scheme in the UK, Repic, the largest scheme on the market in terms of tonnage of electrical equipment placed on the market by members, took a more managed approach and submitted its scheme in joint eighth position.
Dr Morton continues: "We expect we'll be the best low cost scheme around and we believe, the only one to provide full cost transparency, therefore are confident in signing up all our members before the 15th March deadline".
Repic is a not-for-profit company established in January 2004 by leading companies in AMDEA, SEAMA and Intellect - three of the main trade associations in the electrical and electronics industry - to meet their producer obligations under the WEEE Directive.
