Rack-mount UPS rides through short interruptions
Advance Galatrek has a new 19in rack-mount version of its MasterElite MultiTec uninterruptible power system (UPS).
MasterElite MultiTec offers users the option of specifying either single-phase-in/single-phase-out; three-phase-in/single-phase-out or three-phase in and out models, each with capacities ranging between 10 and 20kVA.
Every MasterElite MultiTec version uses dynamic input and output filters to protect the load from upstream electrical pollution.
These filters even continue to provide spike and electrical noise protection when the unit is in static bypass mode.

Advance Galatrek's latest three-phase UPS delivers sinewave power protection up to 30kVA, and offers a wide variety of customisation and communication options.
Compact rack-mount UPS ideal for control rooms
Available in capacities to service loads of up to 1kVA, Advance-Galatrek's Elite UPS are ideal for telecoms, call centre, computer suite or control room applications.
The robust circuitry built into MasterElite provides powerful protection against surges, sags and brownouts in the mains power supply.
Every model can generate a stable sinewave output over a very wide input voltage range, without the need to resort to battery power.
This allows MasterElite to deliver high quality mains power even down to 140V AC.
Every model boosts an exceptional ride through capability that allows MasterElite units to handle mains power failures of up to 40ms, without switching to battery power.
The MultiTec technology enables every MasterElite UPS to alter its operation mode to match the sensitivity of the connected load, and to adjust to the characteristics of the mains power supply.
Either from the main control panel situated on the front of the unit, or even remotely, the user can instruct the UPS to operate either online or economy modes.
MasterElite's online mode adopts the traditional double-conversion principle, where the inverter continuously powers the load, for a stable, break-free supply.
In economy mode, the advanced MultiTec circuitry mimics the characteristics of a line-interactive UPS, with the load being powered through dynamic filters.
This enables the inverter to remain active but not powering the load, until the mains fluctuates or fails suddenly.
Overall efficiencies exceeding 98% are achievable, resulting in a reduction in overall wear and tear on the UPS assemblies.
This makes economy mode ideal for locations where the mains is relatively stable, or the load less critical.
In addition to being virtually silent, MasterElite models make use of full microprocessor control to provide each unit with the ultimate stability and reliability.
Front-end PFC circuits achieve a true sinewave output, and give superior flexibility and economy.
An easy to use front panel keypad and LCD give full access to unit status, while an RS232 port allows integration with existing communications networks, using the PowerShield management software supplied with the UPS.
