Advance-Galatrek has launched its latest range of three-phase input UPSs, specifically for installation in enterprise-wide data and voice processing networks environments These robust MasterElite units can deliver sinewave power protection up to 20kVA for single-phase loads and up to 120kVA for three-phase applications

MasterElite's rugged online design and construction deliver a bulletproof solution for centralised computer and telecoms facilities within industrial, military, rail and offshore locations.

When compared with the transformerless designs often deployed in these environments, this makes MasterElite the ideal choice for any computer or comms suite needing the utmost in 24/7 reliability.

If required, up to eight individual MasterElite modules can be linked together in parallel, to achieve higher kVA ratings, or to provide N+1 redundancy for vital applications.

The MasterElite ERM range gives users the option to choose a single-phase output between 8 and 20kVA, while the MasterElite ERT units provide three-phase outputs ranging between 10 and 120kVA.

All models accept a three-phase 400V AC input, with automatic sensing of the input frequency, and an input voltage range of +/-20%.

A high input power factor provides efficient running characteristics, while dynamic input and output filters help to protect the load from upstream electrical pollution.

These highly effective filters continue to protect the load from spikes and electrical noise even when the unit is in static bypass mode.

The MasterElite ERM and ERT ranges are online double-conversion UPSs.

As such, the inverter delivers a constant, stable and clean sine wave power source, derived either from the converted mains supply, or from the battery pack.

In optional economy mode, MasterElite is set to mimic line interactive operation, with the load being powered through dynamic filters.

This is ideal for applications where the mains is stable, or the load operation less critical to the enterprise.

If the mains fails or fluctuates, the UPS returns instantaneously to online operation.

This, in turn, helps to maintain component temperature, and therefore raise efficiency, while reducing running costs.
