Extended runtime packs keep UPSs up
longer
Advance-Galatrek has developed a new series of extended runtime packs for its PowerElite and MasterElite MultiTec ranges of UPSs.
It is a well-known fact that most uninterruptible power systems (UPSs) offer only a relatively short runtime performance, to bridge the period between mains failure and the start up of alternative power sources Generally, the runtime provided as standard will not exceed thirty minutes
While this may be more than enough for some applications, for example allowing non-critical systems to be shut down in an orderly manner, it is not adequate for circumstances where mission-critical equipment needs to be kept running without the benefit of a mains supply.
To provide for these situations, Advance-Galatrek has developed a new series of extended runtime packs for its PowerElite and MasterElite MultiTec ranges of UPSs.
Matching battery packs are now available, giving substantial additional capacity, and capable of extending runtimes up to and over 7h duration.
