Budget pricing for industrial-strength
filters

Based on a novel method of construction, REO?s new range of EMI filters are competitively priced yet robust enough for use in even the most demanding industrial environments.

By adopting a novel method of construction based on the use of strong extruded aluminium sections, EMC expert REO (UK) is now able to offer a new range of EMI filters These filters are exceptionally competitively priced, yet robust enough for use in even the most demanding industrial environments

The large surface area of the extrusions also ensures that the filters have a low running temperature, even when fully loaded.

Available in single- and three-phase versions with ratings from 3 to 30A, the new CNW540 series filters can be supplied with either conventional screw terminals or push-on connectors.

The push-on connectors are fast and convenient to use and, as they are fully recessed into the filter housing, they provide full protection against accidental finger contact, as well as being protected themselves against possible mechanical damage.

To ensure an accurate match with the needs of virtually every application, REO's new filters are offered in high attenuation and very high attenuation models.

High attenuation types are ideal for use with variable speed drives and switch-mode power supply installations which must meet the Class A requirements of EN55011 for industrial applications.

Where installations must meet the standard's Class B requirements, which are associated with domestic and light industrial environments, the use of very high attenuation filters is recommended.

All the filters in the new CNW540 range feature a universal fixing arrangement, which allows them to be mounted easily in either bookcase or footprint orientation.

In addition, their dimensions are comparable to those of filters from other manufacturers, allowing them to be incorporated easily into existing designs, and also to be fitted in existing installations to upgrade EMC performance. Request a free brochure from REO (UK) ...
