NEC LCD Technologies has broadened its high-information-content ultrawide-viewing-angle product line for professional monitor applications with four new TFT panels.

The NL160120BC27-02 is a 21.3in UXGA panel, with 250cd/m2 output, 450:1 contrast ratio, 16.7M colours, two 8bit LVDS ports, an ultrawide viewing angle, and an antiglare polariser.

The NL160120BM27-03 is a 21.3in monochrome UXGA panel, with 800cd/m2 brightness, 700:1 contrast ratio, two 8bit LVDS ports, ultrawide viewing angle, and an antiglare polariser.

The NL204153BC21-02 is a 21.3in QXGA panel, with 235cd/m2 brightness, 450:1 contrast ratio, 16.7M colours, four LVDS ports, an ultrawide viewing angle, and an antiglare polariser.

And the NL204153BM21-01 is a 21.3in monochrome QXGA panel, with 800cd/m2 brightness, 700:1 contrast ratio, four 8bit LVDS ports, ultrawide viewing angle, and an antiglare polariser.

The displays feature NEC SFT technology based on in-plane switching (IPS) ultrawide viewing angle technology said to result in faster response times over previous displays, improved panel transmissivity, minimized colour shift and wide viewing angles of up to 170 degrees.

Samples of QXGA and UXGA displays are now available.

Both colour and monochrome models offer an adjustment function of gamma characteristics.

And the compact frame structure enables 88% screen share.

Review Display Systems is already working on the development of a range of kit based solutions based on a comprehensive line up of single board computers and analogue boards.
