TFT panel upgrades display performance

A new LCD panel from NEC enhances its existing wide range of TFT solutions for industrial applications The NL6448BC20-18D is a new 6.5in VGA TFT, with the same viewing window as the existing 6.5in VGA panel, but with ultrawide viewing angles, increased luminance and contrast ratio, and a smaller, compact bezel
Overall dimensions are 153 x 118 x 10.5mm; luminance is 400cd/m2; contrast ratio is 400:1; and viewing angles are 80 and 60 degrees.
Available for demonstration now, this compact 6.5in unit would be ideal for applications with limited space, and/or, where a brighter display, with a higher contrast ratio, and a wider viewing cone is required.
This improved compact display will also be available with NEC's novel NLT natural light technology in the near future.
