Dedicated NEC distributor Review Display Systems has added another natural light TFT (NLT) product to its range of TFT solutions for industrial applications.
Dedicated NEC distributor Review Display Systems has added another natural light TFT (NLT) product to its range of TFT solutions for industrial applications.
NEC has developed an LCD that simultaneously maximises the high ambient light visibility features of a reflective-type LCD, and the low ambient light visibility features of a transmissive-type LCD, to deliver high picture quality in all indoor and outdoor light environments.
The 6.5in VGA NL6448BC20-14 and the 5.5in QVGA NL3224BC35-22 are now both in mass production.
The latest release from NEC is the 12.1in SVGA NL8060BC31-32, with antireflective coating, 400cd/m2 luminance, 600:1 contrast ratio and a wide viewing angle.
As with the 6.5 and 5.5in NLT products, the NL8060BC31-32 is fully compatible with existing NEC 12.1in TFTs.
NEC will release further fully compatible NLT panels in the near future.
All new products released by NEC are RoHS compliant.
