Available from RDS is the ETX-821 ETX CPU module from Aaeon The ETX-821, available with the Intel ultra-low voltage Celeron-M, at 600MHz to a Pentium-M at 1.8GHz processor, together with the Intel 855GME chipset, provides a high performance and flexible computing platform

The ETX-821 can provide common PC peripheral functions such as graphics, USB, serial, parallel ports, keyboard/mouse, Ethernet and IDE.

The baseboard designer can optimise exactly which and how these functions are implemented physically.

All of Aaeon's ETX modules have a standard form factor and a standard connector layout that carry a specified set of signals.

By adopting this standardisation, designers can create a single system of carrier board that can accept present and future ETX modules in terms of their needs.

In another word, Aaeon will have different ETX solutions so that customers can upgrade the module without having to change their carrier board.

The ETX-821 was designed specially to improve the quality and speed of product development.

Aaeon ETX series represent features of scalability, reliability and qualified services.

It provides a compact sise and flexibility for users' various applications.

The ETX-821 can also drive 24bit dual channel LVDS TFT displays.
