Review Display Systems has come up with a compact driver card designed for LED backlit TFT displays The Mini card offers the end user the ability to drive TFT panels in resolutions from VGA to SXGA and screen sizes from 6.5in upwards including wide format displays

Review Display Systems has unveiled the latest addition to its single board computer range: the Aaeon PCM-5335.
Measuring only 100 x 90mm the Mini card accepts analogue, S-Video and composite inputs, and connects to both LVDS and TTL panels.
As well as the specialist support for LED backlit displays the driver card can also support normal CCFL displays.
The card is supplied complete with an OSD card to set up menus, a mating TFT interface cable and inverter.
The TFT inverter can be controlled via the OSD giving the ability to control the brightness and contrast ratio.
The OSD also gives options to switch between inputs as well as adjusting other optical characteristics.
By supplying just a 12V DC input at 3.5A this plug and play solution only requires the user's power and video signal to get the TFT up and running.
